My beloved companion (the Prophet s.a.w) advised me to do three things: To fast three days every month, to offer the Dhuha prayer, and to offer the Witr prayer before sleeping. One such narration that depicts its significance is by Abu Hurayrah r.a who said: In truth, it entails a lot more rewards than sustenance, such as forgiveness, repentance and protection from heedlessness as seen in multiple narrations regarding it. The Dhuha prayer is often associated by many with ease of sustenance and provisions. Here are some Duas that we can recite in seeking for sustenance: 1. In pleasing The Provider, Allah will definitely suffice us.

An-Nu'man Bin Bashir r.a reported the Prophet s.a.w said:Īlthough we supplicate to seek sustenance, from this hadith, let us also bear in mind that the overarching intention is to please and worship Allah s.w.t. as it is also recognised as a form of worship. There are many Dua that we can find in the Quran and Hadith to guide us in our supplications.īesides the Dhuha prayer, we can also recite plenty of other Duas to seek provisions from Allah s.w.t. On top of putting the right effort, we should also supplicate to Allah s.w.t. And remember Allah often so you may be successful. Once the prayer is over, disperse throughout the land and seek the bounty of Allah. In fact, we are encouraged to work for our livelihood and fulfill our obligations and responsibilities. Seeking provisions is part of human life. Dhuha dua and dua for rizq and sustenance
